stripe prints & patterns

Our stripe prints & designs | Fashion - Home - Stationery

The stripe is iconic in itself, but who’s to say it can’t be improved? Popularized in traditional menswear fabrics and uniform styles, the stripe has integrated itself in the lives of millions, if not billions of people. Queen Victoria and Coco Chanel themselves were pioneers in the usage of the pattern. The trend was definitely set by Jean Paul Gaultier with his iconic Sailor Stripes, and Sonia Rykiel’s famous fancy & wildly colored stripes. Wallpaper, upholstery, apparel and shoes, every stripe has had its day. Thick or thin, each striped pattern conveys a different attitude. Bold cabana stripes are a quintessential summer staple, while pinstripes convey a serious, more sophisticated mood. Bayadere stripes are horizontal and multicoloured, and we’ve even messed up straight lines to make abstract, playful striped patterns for unconventional prints.

custom Designs

Custom print textiles are created based on each clients’ individual and specific requirements, and we work very closely with the customer during the creative process to establish unique textile designs. All of our designers illustrate by hand with various mediums like inks and paints, which are then digitized on the computer. We also handle the digitalization for brands that buy archives.
